The Amapiano genre will also have a strong presence, with South African artistes such as Kabza De Small, TxC, Dlala Thukzin and Young Stunna billed to perform.
Afro Nation Portugal, launched in 2019 in Portimão, is a major festival celebrating Afrobeats and contemporary African music as part of the wider Afro Nation brand.
The event brings together music, culture and entertainment from across Africa and the global African diaspora, attracting thousands of fans from different parts of the world.
Its programme features genres including Afrobeats, amapiano, dancehall, hip-hop and R&B, alongside beach parties, cultural experiences and performances from emerging artistes.
Nigeria has maintained a strong presence at the Portugal festival, with leading artistes including Burna Boy, Wizkid, Asake and Tems performing at previous editions.
Rema previously headlined the 2024 edition of the festival.
The organisers said more artistes would be unveiled as preparations for the 2027 event continue.
