Nigerian-based airline, Air Peace, has again come under public scrutiny as Osun lawmaker, Bamidele Salam, gives ugly testimony of service.
This is coming few days after journalist, Bukola Adebayo, decried the service of the local airline.
She had disclosed that there was no in-flight entertainment for economy passengers all through her 6-hour flight from London to Nigeria, adding that the seats of the airplane were all worn out.
In the same vein, Bamidele, in a post on his Facebook page on Wednesday, decried the state of the airline’s aircraft he boarded from Lagos to London.
The House of Representatives member representing the Ede North, Ede South, Egbedore, and Ejigbo Federal Constituency, described the aircraft as ‘old’ and ‘crappy’ with unkempt interior.

While sharing a picture of the business class section with an old interior, Bamidele however commended the level of hospitality displayed by the crew which he claimed is not commonly seen locally.
He also lauded the affordability of the flight and Air Peace boldness in putting a Nigerian carrier on such important route.
Depsite the shortcomings, the lawmaker pledged to patronize the airline again.
“I flew you for the first time yesterday, from Lagos, Nigeria to London Gatwick. I want to commend you for the bold initiative to put a Nigerian carrier on that important route. Your pocket friendly fare is worthy of note. I love your offer of good Nigeria cuisine (even though I was too sleepy to have a taste). Your crew also appear very courteous in service, a trait not commonly seen locally.
“Everything looked good but please change that aircraft you used yesterday. It is way too old and crappy. I am sharing a shot of a part of your business class to buttress this view. That old, unkempt interior almost spoilt every other good sides earlier mentioned.
“I love you and will fly you again and again.” He wrote.
