The Forum of Commissioners in Osun State has pledged its allegiance to the state governor, Ademola Adeleke, expressing readiness to continue working with him regardless rumours of a possible defection to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
This was made known in a communique issued on Wednesday by the commissioners.
As contained in the communique signed by the forum chairman and secretary, Ganiyu Olaoluwa Asejere and Barr. Dosu Babatunde respectively, the commissioners declared their loyalty to Adeleke.
While reiterating their commitment to the people of Osun state, the forum held that Adeleke remains the most credible driver of the developmental vision they all share as they pledged to follow the leading of the governor.
The Commissioners added that they are alignment with Adeleke’s ongoing consultations as they assured him of their support.
The communique read; “We, the members of the Osun State Commissioners’ Forum, having extensively deliberated on the current political atmosphere, hereby declare our total loyalty and absolute confidence in the purposeful, inclusive, and people-centered leadership of His Excellency, Governor Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke.
“We unanimously resolved that wherever our Governor leads, we shall follow. Our commitment is to the people of Osun State, and we believe that Governor Adeleke remains the most credible driver of the developmental vision we all share.
“We further align with His Excellency’s ongoing consultations and assure him of our unflinching support, both as loyal cabinet members and committed public servants, determined to deliver on the Imole mandate.”
“As Commissioners, we remain united under the banner of progress, development, and overall transformative governance that Governor Adeleke embodies. We are Imole till 2030 and beyond.
“This position reflects the collective will of all Commissioners in Osun State and signals the Forum’s readiness to continue supporting Governor Adeleke in his quest to uplift the state and its people.”
