By Oluwatomisin Amokeoja

The Chairman of First Bank, Ibukun Awosika, has demanded an answer for the person who ordered the shooting of protesters at the Lekki Toll Gate area of Lagos on Tuesday night.

Awosika took to her Twitter page on Wednesday to probe into the situation.

She asserted that it couldn't have been a ghost who ordered the Lekki shooting.

She asked: "Who ordered the shooting of unharmed young Nigerians??? Definitely not a ghost!!"

Her reaction follows denials by the Lagos State Government and the Nigerian Army about have no link with the shooting.

The Army through its Twitter had refuted several claims that its men did the shooting.

The Lagos State Government had claimed forces beyond its control spearheaded the shooting while also indicting the Army.

Videos of the incident obtained by NPO Reports showed men in camouflage uniform similar to that of the Army shooting the protesters.

The Lagos Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu while addressing the incident on Wednesday had promised to investigate the whole situation.
