There was drama in Abuja on Thursday as relatives of persons who were abducted in the Kaduna-Abuja train last week stormed the Ministry of Transportation to demand for the release of their relatives.
However, officials of the Ministry who moved to stop the protests by some of the relatives, had made attempt to stop journalists who had come to cover the protests.
Specifically, some ministry officials were seen blocking the camera lenses of journalists as they made efforts to stop the recording of some the relatives of the passengers who came to demand for help from the ministry over their relatives who are still missing ten days after the incident.
Terrorists had attacked the Kaduna-Abuja train killing about 9 people. The attackers also made away with more than 150 persons.
The Ministry of Transportation was holding a press briefing over developments under the Ministry when some of the relatives got wind of it and moved to the location.
However, on sighting that some of the relatives were about to speak with journalists, they moved to stop the interviews.
Specifically, the Camera of Arise TV correspondent was blocked from recording the scenario and an official kept placing his hands on the camera to prevent him from recording.
