The embattled publisher of the Desert Herald and arrested negotiator between terrorists and abducted Kaduna train attacks victims, Tukur Mamu is to spend at least another 60 days in the detention facility of the Directorate of State Security.
Counsel to the DSS, Ahmed Magaji, had moved a motion before Justice Nkeonye Maha, on Tuesday.
The ex-parte motion by counsel for the DSS, Was granted as prayed by the court.
Mamu was arrested last week in Cairo by men of the Interpol on demands by the Nigerian authorities.
He was thereafter brought back to Nigeria.

DSS had filed the motion telling the court it requires time to deepen its investigation of the go-between who is also a media consultant to the controversial cleric Ahmed Gumi.
Gumi has described as an act of terrorism Mamu’s arrest.
The DSS had equally warned against what it term reckless statements on the ongoing investigations of issue around the negotiator.
