Says Oshiomole has no Respect for Women

Outgoing Edo state governor, Godwin Obaseki, has declared the upcoming gubernatorial election in the state as a do or die affair.
Obaseki made this declaration while speaking during the grand finale rally held at Oredo local government area of the state.
While highlighting his administration’s achievement across his eight years tenure, Obaseki charged Edo people to support PDP’ s candidate, Asue Ighodalo as against Monday Okpebholo of the APC.
“It is clear that this is an existential election. This election is a do or die. Because if they do (APC), we will die.
Meanwhile, prior to his charge, Obaseki accused his predecessor, Adams Oshiomole, of having no respect for women.
He further accused Oshiomole of encouraging prostitution and human trafficking during his tenure.
“When we took over office in 2016, we knew what Edo state was. The person I took over from have no respect for our people. He has no respect from our women. He encouraged prostitution and human trafficking.” Obaseki said.
Recall that Oshiomole had, last month, called out Obaseki’s wife for her barreness- a statement which generated reactions against the former governor.
