The All Progressive Congress (APC) Edo State Chapter has refused to sign peace accord ahead on the state’s gubernatorial election.
This was disclosed in a post on X following the Edo State Security Summit on Tuesday.
According to post, APC Representatives refused to sign the accord as they demanded for justice over attacks experienced during their campaign.
“There can be no peace without justice. We will not sign the peace accord if no steps are taken to apprehend all those who attacked us during our campaign because we know they are from the Government House.” The representatives had said at the summit.
Recall NPO Reports Adams Oshiomole’s claims of attacks on APC campaign and supporters in the state.
The former Edo state governor also recounted how the APC candidate, Monday Okpebholo, came under attack earlier this year.
