The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested 37 suspected internet fraudsters in Port Harcourt, Rivers State capital.
This was disclosed in a statement issued on the commission’s official X handle on Friday.
According to the statement, the suspects were arrested across various locations in the capital city by operatives attached to the EFCC’s Port Harcourt Zonal Directorate.

They were apprehended following credible intelligence about their suspected involvement in internet-related activities.
Items recovered from them include different brands and models of vehicles, phones and laptops containing incriminating items.
The EFCC vowed to charge the suspects to court upon conclusion of investigation.
