The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has declared eight CBEX officials wanted.
NPO Reported that the Commission was granted warrant by the Federal High Court to arrest the officials following the crash of the cryptocurrency trading platform which left many Nigerian investors counting their losses.
Following court’s approval, the EFCC, in a post on its official X declared the officials comprising of four Nigerians and four foreign accomplices wanted.
As profiled in the notice issued by the commission’s Head of Media and Publicity, Dele Oyewale, the wanted foreigners include, Joseph Okiroh Otieno, Israel Mbaluka, Joseph Michiro, and Sarah Michiro.
Their last known address is 166, Idimu Egbeda, Lagos State.
On the other hand, their Nigerian accomplices, as profiled in a separate post, include Seyi Oloyede, Emmanuel Uko, Adefowora Oluwanisola, and Adefowora Olaonipekun.
While Oloyede and Uko were last sighted at the same address as the foreign officials, were last seen at 13, Jimoh Odutola, Ogunpa, Ibadan, Oyo State.
The EFCC urged anyone with useful information their whereabouts to contact any of its offices nationwide.
