The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and the Moshood Abiola National Stadium amongst others are set to experience two weeks interrupted power supply on account of a scheduled relocation of electricity feeder and a transmission line tower.
This was announced by the Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC) in a statement issued on their official X handle on Friday.
According to the statement, residents are billed to experience power disruption between 6th to 21st of January on account of FCDA’s plan to relocate 33KV DC Airport Feeder and 132KV Kukwaba Apo Transmission Power Line Towers along the Outer Southern Expressway.
This also extended to institutions and organizations located at affected areas.
As highlighted by AEDC, areas within the Federal Capital Territory set to be affected by the development include Lugbe & environ, Airport Road, Kapwa, NNPC, Games Village, National Stadium, and Christ Embassy Church.
Places also bound to be affected include Coca-Cola, Railway, FMC, American International School, Spring Court, and Indoor Complex amongst others.
