Anambra State first lady, Dr Nonye Soludo, has sued for love, sacrifice, and tolerance which she considered as embodiments of Eid-el-Fitr and critical pillars for harmony and peaceful co-existence in society.
Soludo, who is the Founder of Healthy Living initiative, said this in a goodwill message to the Muslim faithful on Thursday in Awka.
According to her, the essence of Eid-el-Fitr goes beyond celebration, noting that it serves as reminder of the enduring importance of compassion, unity and mutual respect among people of different religions.
“Eid-el-Fitr reminds us that love, sacrifice and tolerance remain the greatest foundation of harmony and mutual co-existence,” she said.
Soludo urged the Muslim faithful to reflect these values in their daily interactions by spreading kindness and genuine happiness within their communities.
“As you celebrate, let love lead; let kindness and oneness define your actions; Let someone around you smile because of you,” she added.
She wished the Muslim Ummah a peaceful and joyful Eid celebration, while calling for sustained unity and understanding among residents of the state and the nation at large.
