Former Kaduna State Governor, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, has arrived at the Federal High Court in Kaduna for the hearing of the alleged money laundering case filed against him by the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC).
NPO Reported that the ICPC had arraigned El-Rufai on two different suits with the first suit numbered FHC/KD/73/2026 having one Joel Adoga as co-defendant.
Both defendants are to appear before the Federal High Court in the Kaduna Judicial Division today over suit comprising of charges ranging from conversion of and possession of public property, to money laundering.
Video shared on X earlier today showed El-Rufai arriving at the court’s premises ahead of the sitting.
The ex-Kaduna governor who was heavily guarded by security personnel and ICPC officials arrived in Hilux vehicle, exchanging pleasantries with some officials and his supporters before advancing into the court.
