Former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, has fired back at his successor, Uba Sani, over his defense of President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
Uba had in an interview on Channels TV on Monday took a dig at the recent National Conference held by the coalition of opposition parties where the All Progressive Congress (APC)-led administration was accused of inciting discord within opposition parties.
The Kaduna governor alleged that those making the allegations are only fighting for power.
Reacting in a post on his X handle on Tuesday, El-Rufai slammed his Uba, alleging that his administration was selectively given an excess of N150 billion grants in the last 18 months.
This, according, former Kaduna governor, explained Uba’s defense of the Tinubu-led administration.
“Every day I see this governor embarrassingly and sycophantically rambling, I used to wonder why? However, confirming that Federal Government ‘reimbursements, interventions and grants’ in excess of N150bn have been given selectively to Kaduna by Tinubu, in the last 18 months, now explains everything.
“By all means, defend Asiwaju for the conditional cash transfer. Asiwaju has earned it, coming from you. The people of Kaduna State will judge at the right time and place. Have a nice day.” El-Rufai wrote.
