Nigerian activist and social media influencer, Isaac Bristol, popularly known as PIDOM, has been released by the Lagos State Police Command after fulfilling his bail condition.
This was announced in a post on X by activist and the Action Alliance Congress (AAC) 2023 Presidential candidate, Omoyele Sowore.
According to Sowore, Bristol was freed from Kuje prison on Friday.
“This afternoon, whistleblower and investigative journo Isaac Bristol @PIDOMNIGERIA left Kuje prison a free man after fulfilling his bail conditions” Sowore announced on his X handle.
Isaac Bristol was arrested and detained during the #EndBadGovernance Protest in August.
The whistleblower, alongside nine other protesters, were charged to the Abuja Federal High Court in September over alleged treason.
However, Justice Emeka Nwite, who presided over the ruling granted them bail.
