TheAll Progressives Congress APC, House of Representative candidate for Nsukka/Igbo-Eze South Federal Constituency, Pharm. Ejikeme Omeje is dead.
It was gathered that,Omeje, died in a motor accident on Tuesday morning along Eden Ani/Nsukka road, near El-Rina hotel Nsukka.
It was also learnt that,the incident occurred when he was returning from a political meeting held Edem-Ani town.
He was said to be driving alone along the Erina-Edem Ani road in Nsukka, when he suddenly lost control and his car veered into the bush, hitting a tree in the process.
He was rushed to the hospital but later died early Tuesday morning as a result of serious injuries sustained in the accident.
As at the time of filing this report, Police or Federal Road Safety Corps have not officially confirm the accident.
