Former Benue state governor, Samuel Ortom, has found himself at the receiving end of the ongoing crisis at the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) national headquarters as he ordered out of the complex by the faction led by the newly elected National Chairman, Kabiru Turaki.
Amid the clash between the faction and the Samuel Anyanwu-led faction on Tuesday, the ex-Benue governor had joined the likes of Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, and other members of the Turaki-led faction at the PDP National Executive Committee (NEC) Hall for their press briefing.
As captured in a now viral video, Ortom’s presence was met with strong protest from members of the faction who ordered him out of the hall as they accused him of being a mole.
Some were heard in a video demanding to know who let him in.
“Let him out, who is he? This is not your PDP,” one of the angry members said after spotting Ortom.
The former Benue governor was eventually escorted out of the premises.
