Former Minister of Education, Obigaeli Ezekwesili has affirmed that suffering Nigerians will soon collectively raise their voices to fight back against a government that negates the good of its people
Ezekwesili made the assertion in a tweet on Wednesday, stating that the political class has proven to be the worst nightmare of Africa as a continent.
She wrote;
“How oft have we stated that Nigeria’s; nay, Africa’s worst albatross is its Political Class which has entrenched a culture of politics that negates the Common Good of their people!
“Every day they prove themselves to be the continent’s worst nightmare.
The former minister however assured that this “nightmare” will not go on forever, as the people will collectively snap and raise their voices to put an end to it.
But this shall not be forever because someday soon, the endurance of the long-suffering people will collectively snap and it will be, “Enough is now finally Enough!”.
The former Minister’s tweet came amidst growing concerns over the country’s state of the economy.
The growing hardship Ezekwesili referred to include the rising costs of foodstuffs, petroleum and other energy sources and other basic needs.
