Former Minister of Sports, Owan Enoh, has assumed his new office as the Minister of State for Trade and Investment (Industry).
Following the cabinet reshuffling by President Bola Tinubu at the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting earlier this month, Enoh was redeployed to the Trade and Investment Ministry after the scrap of the Ministry of Sports.
Days after the ministerial shake up, Enoh reported to the ministry’s Federal Secretariat yesterday.
He also confirmed his assumption to the ministry in a post on his X handle on Wednesday.
According to the post, the minister was warmly received by the senior officials of the ministry.
“I officially resumed at the Federal Secretariat as Minister of State, Trade and Investment (Industry), yesterday, the 29th of October 2024.
“I thank the Permanent Secretary, Ambassador Nura Abba, directors and staff of the ministry for the warm reception accorded me.” He wrote.
Meanwhile, Owan Enoh pledged to ensure job creation which he claimed would be achieved through industrial revitalization and revolution.
“Our primary focus here is on job creation, which can be achieved by industrial revitalization and revolution.” The Minister added.
