The Holy mosque, in Mecca on Friday celebrated its full capacity status once again after a long period of low visits as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.
On Friday, pilgrims were seen circumambulating the Holy Ka’abah to its fullest capacity.
The Holy Mosques management, in its tweet on historic return of full capacity at the ground, said Now: “The Mataaf reaches capacity for the first time in two years.”
The pandemic prevented the annual Hajj operations for two years. Ummrah (the lesser hajj) was equally restricted as the entire battled with a global health crisis the seemed to defy solutions.
The authorities of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia began gradual ease up last year.
