President Bola Tinubu has, on Tuesday, held an emergency close-door meeting with security Chiefs
Tinubu met with the service chiefs led by the Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa at the Aso Villa in Abuja.
This is coming few hours after the explosion of the Trans-Niger pipeline at Bodo community in Rivers State.
Also present at the meeting were the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun; the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu; and the Director General of the Department Of State Services, Oluwatosin Ajayi.
The President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio; and the Leader of the Majority, Opeyemi Bamidele; would also join the meeting held in the office of the president.
Also spotted at the meeting was the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas; and his deputy, Ben Kalu.
Although the agenda was not fully disclosed as at the time of filing this report, it’s likely related to the ongoing political unrest in Rivers and the explosion incident which occurred on Monday night.
