A CCTV footage of the Ikeja Electricity Distribution Company’s (IKEDC) invasion by personnel of the Nigerian Air Force has surfaced online.
NPO Reported that the military officials had on Thursday, 6th of March, stormed IKEDC offices across Lagos, assaulting the DisCo’s officials.
As captured in videos shared on X the Air Force Personnel forced the officials to their knees while some who managed to escape the raid were seen trying to scale steel fence.
The military personnel vandalised the IKEDC’s properties which effectively crippled the operations in the electricity distribution company.
It was gathered that the action of the military personnel was informed by IKEDC’s disconnection of the power supply to the Nigerian Air Force logistics base in Ikeja.
Meanwhile a CCTV footage shared on X on Monday revealed how the military personnel invaded the IKEDC complex.
As captured in the footage, the armed personnel were seen taking the stairs that led to the IKEDC administrative offices.
Another clip captured the militants breaking into the offices as they kicked down the doors.
One of the personnel was also seen destroying a CCTV camera mounted at a door post as his colleagues ransacked other offices.
