Many aspirants have started stepping down for former Governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu. Senator Godswill Akpabio, Governor Kayode Fayemi and Senator Ibikunle Amosun have all stepped down for Tinubu.
After the decision by Fayemi, Amosun and Akpabio, other aspirants who had had their floor like former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Dimeji Bankole, Senator Ajayi Borofice came back to pledge their support for Tinubu.
The only woman aspirant, Mrs. Uju Ohanenye also withdrew
However, while speaking, another aspirant, Chief Ogbonaya Onu, said the presidential ticket should have gone to the South-East part of the country.
He said justice is the moto of the APC adding that it would not be right for presidency to go to other parts of the country other than the South-East.
