Nigerian journalist and publisher of the Ovation Magazine, Dele Momodu, has accused the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister, Nyesom Wike, of sealing the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) National Headquarters as revenge for his defeat at the 2022 Presidential primary election and rejection as the running mate of the primaries winner, Atiku Abubakar.
NPO Reported that Wike had last week declared the takeover of the PDP secretariat and over 4500 properties for unpaid ground rents.
In enforcement of the directive, the FCTA officials had on Monday stormed the opposition party’s secretariat, sealing it off.
Reacting to the development in a post on his Instagram handle, Momodu claimed that Wike had not recovered from his defeat at the PDP primaries.
While maintaining that the FCT Minister has not forgiven the party over his loss, Momodu urged him to reconsider his action.
“Wike via FCT Authorities seals PDP national headquarters.” Suddenly, NYESOM
WIKE remembers PDP Headquarters is owing FCT…
“Was he not the sole financier of PDP and its apparatchiks? Truth is the man will neither forgive nor forget the blinding blow of losing the PDP
Presidential primary in 2022 and being rejected as Atiku’s runningmate…”
“There’s beautiful life outside power my dear Brother…” Momodu wrote.
