The Federal Government has released emergency hotlines for Nigerians trapped in the Middle East crisis.
NPO Reported the escalation of the Iran war following last week’s attack on the country’s capital city of Theran and murder of the Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Khameni, by the United States and Israeli Forces.
The attack had led to retaliatory attack by the Iranian Forces on neighbouring countries suspected to habouring the US military bases.
Explosions had over the week been reported in countries like the United Arab Emirate, Qatar, Kuwait, and Bahrain amongst others.
While some countries have commenced evacuation of their citizens from the Middle East, the Federal Government established emergency hotlines for Nigerians currently in the affected Arab nations.
As contained in a statement issued on Saturday by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Spokesperson, Kimiebi Ebienfa, the FG urged the citizens to contact the emergency numbers and ensure that they are registered with the respective Embassy or Consulate.
