FG Tracing Over 4,000 Possible Suspects - Lai Mohammed

The Federal Government on Thursday reeled out new measures to tame the spread of coronavirus.

Lai Mohammed, the Minister of Information who addressed the press on the matter confirmed that the government is at a statge where it must enforce compliance instead of persuading people.

"We have gone beyond the stage of persuasion, we are now at the stage of enforcement," Mohammed told journalists.

The Minister warmed that the country is nearing stage of community infections pleading with all to cooperate in order to avert that stage.

He confirmed the arrival of some equipments as donated by Mr.Jack Ma. He said some corporate organisations have also been coming forward to aid the fight against the virus.

The minister added that the Nigerian situation is being compounded by those who flew into Nigeria and refused to obey the protocols.

"Some Nigerians filled wrong addresses," Mohammed said noting that this has made the tracing of over 4000 possible cases very difficult.
