Super Falcons goalkeeper, Chiamaka Nnadozie, has drummed support for Super Eagles, assuring Nigerians of the national team’s victory in the final match against Benin Republic for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualification.
Nnadozie, in a video shared on X on Tuesday ahead of the epic showdown between the two West African countries at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, cheered Nigerians up with the famous 2002 Super Eagles Carry Go song composed by Austino Milado.
As captured in the video, the 2025 African female goalkeeper of the year sang joyfully, twisting the lyrics of the song with inclusion of names of players in the current Super Eagles squad to cheer up the team.
The Super Eagles match against Benin Republic had been deemed crucial in deciding the fate of Nigeria’s qualification for the World Cup despite their narrow 2-1 victory against Lesotho last week.
With the team currently sitting third on the group C table with 14 points, Super Eagles need all three points with massive goal advantage against Benin to stand a chance of advancing to the play-offs of the FIFA World Cup qualifier.
