Super Eagles Coach, Eric Chelle, has release a 31-man provisional list ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying matches against Rwanda and South Africa.
This was disclosed in a post shared on the Nigeria national team’s official X handle on Friday.
Chelle, whose side currently sits fourth on the Group C table with seven points out of six games, seeks redemption of the Super Eagles poor start of the campaign as they face off Rwanda and South Africa to revive their hope of qualifying.
The provisional list include team captain William Ekong, Victor Osimhen, Ademola Lookman, Alex Iwobi, first-choice goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali and others.
With only few omissions from the Super Eagles last two outings, the defensive lineup is still bolstered by the likes of Olaoluwa Aina and Calvin Bassey, while Alex Iwobi, Wilfred Ndidi, and Fisayo Dele-Bashiru amongst others.
Galatasary striker, Victor Osimhen, and CAF Player of the year, Ademola Lookman, will be leading the attack alongside the likes of Moses Simon, Victor Boniface, and Tolu Arokodare.
The Super Eagles will host Rwanda at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium on the 6th of September before travelling to South Africa three days after to face the Bafana Bafana.
