The Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) has officially transmuted to its new brand identity as the Nigeria Revenue Service (NRS) with a new logo unveiled to mark the beginning of a new era under the new tax reform laws.
FIRS transition to NRS was formally declared at an unveiling ceremony held in Abuja on Wednesday.
This marked the begininnig of the service’s operations in accordance to the Nigeria Revenue Service Establishment Act 2025 signed by President Bola Tinubu in June 2025.
Coupled with the new logo, the unveiling ceremony reportedly featured other new brand elements.
In what was described as a pivotal milestone in Nigeria’s revenue framework, the NRS Executive Chairman, Zacch Adedeji, emphasized the logo’s symbolism.
Adedeji, as quoted in a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media, Dare Adekanmbi, described the unveiling as a reflection of renewed commitment to a more unified, efficient, and service-oriented revenue system.
He noted that the new identity signals continuity of purpose, bolstered institutional capacity, and a proactive stance in supporting taxpayers and national development.

“The Nigeria Revenue Service remains committed to transparency, partnership, and service excellence,” He said.
Adedeji added that the transition of the beginning of a strengthened relationship between the revenue authority and the Nigerian public—built on trust, clarity, and shared prosperity.
