Reportedly Says Ex-President Suffers Insanity

What initially appeared to be a settlement of many years of disagreement between former President Olusegun Obasanjo and former Ekiti state governor, Ayodele Fayose, has become the beginning of a new war as Fayose has reportedly sent a nasty message to the former President after attending his 65th birthday.
NPO Reported that Obasanjo had last week made an appearance at Fayose birthday in Lagos.
The former President had at the event forgiven Fayose and his wife after years of clash.
But before doing that, Obasanjo had chastised Fayose over what he called his bad ways.
Fayose, who appeared calm at the event has however exhumed the buried hatchet with a SMS text allegedly sent to Obasanjo days after the birthday.
As disclosed in a statement issued on Monday by Kehinde Akinyemi, the Special Assistant on Media to the former President, the message. which was ironically dubbed a “thank you” letter, saw Fayose taking fresh jibes at the ex-President.
The former Ekiti governor slammed Obasanjo over what he described as an irresponsible comment by the former president at the event.
He held that the ex-President has lost his sanity with his comment while demanding that Obasanjo returns the money that he received from him.
The letter read; “Dear Baba Obasanjo, I trust this meets you well.Your coming to my birthday party, I appreciate except for your very irresponsible comments at your age.
“You went so low but am not surprised because someone once said you are supposed be kept away in the zoo. Sincerely that’s where you belong.
“I kept quiet or did not reply you at the function so that the world will know the difference between a sane and a mad man that you are.
“It is also obvious that you have also lost your sanity OR should I say is the heightened stage of dementia. Not to worry Baba., I shall set the records straight in due course of time. Lastly I shall appreciate if you return my money since you publicly admitted you received but Dangote brought u back.
“Your leopard will never change his skin.”
In response, the former President, as quoted by Akinyemi held that the message revealed Fayose’s unchanged character.
Obasanjo disclosed that he returned the ex-Ekiti governor’s money to one Foluso Adeagbo the same way he brought it to him.
“Ayo, thanks for your “Thank You” message which undisguisedly revealed who and what you are, unchanged and unchangeable. Your money has been sent back through Foluso Adeagbo who brought it and in the same bag as he brought it unopened by me”.Obj.” The former President wrote.
