Lagos PPRO Hundeyin May Take Over

The Nigerian Police Force Public Relations Officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, has been deployed to the Delta State Command as the Deputy Commissioner in charge of the Department of Operations.
In what will be his final statement issued as the Force spokesperson, Adejobi, on Wednesday confirmed the approval of his posting by the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun.
According to him, his deployment underscored the confidence of the Force leadership in his wealth of experience, professionalism, and capacity to further strengthen operational strategies in the Command.
Adejobi disclosed that arrangement for his replacement has been concluded with a spokesperson of the Force set to be announced soon.
The statement read; “The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, Ph.D., NPM, has approved the posting of the Force Public Relations Officer, DCP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, mnipr, mipra, fCAI, as the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of the Department of Operations, Delta State Command.
“This deployment underscores the confidence of the Force leadership in his wealth of experience, professionalism, and capacity to further strengthen operational strategies in the Command.
“The IGP has commended DCP Adejobi for his exceptional service as Force Public Relations Officer, noting his professionalism, commitment, and remarkable contributions to strengthening the image and communication strategies of the Nigeria Police Force.
“The IGP expressed confidence that he will bring the same level of dedication and excellence to his new assignment in Delta State.
“Meanwhile, arrangements are being concluded for the announcement of a new Force Public Relations Officer.”
Meanwhile, there are indications that Adejobi’s likely replacement will be the current Lagos State Police Command’s spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin.
There is however no official confirmation of this as at the time of filing this report.
