Former Director-General of Tinubu Support Groups, Hon. Abdulmumin Kofa Jibrin, has on Sunday declared his return to the All Progressives Congress (APC) after dumping the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP).
Jibrin, who worked for Tinubu during the 2023 Presidential campaign, renounced his membership of the NNPP and the Kwankwasiya Movement led by former Kano State Governor, Rabiu Kwankwaso.
As contained in a statement issued by the Kano lawmaker representing Kiru/Bebeji Constituency in the House of Representative, Jibrin renounced his NNPP membership in his hometown in Kofa before over 2000 Ulamas who offered prayers for him on his return to his former party.

Speaking on his return to the governing All Progressives Congress, Jibrin declared his support for Tinubu’s re-election.
“In a show of solidarity, I was warmly received by thousands of my constituents in my hometown of Kofa, Bebeji, Kano. The gathering resolved to leave the NNPP/Kwankwasiyya, join the APC, and endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for a second term in office.

“Earlier, about 2,000 Ulamas from my constituency offered special prayers for the President and peaceful coexistence, progress, and development of Kiru/Bebeji, Kano, and Nigeria at large.” He said.
