Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has on Sunday made his first public appearance since his suspension by President Bola Tinubu.
The suspended governor allayed concern over his whereabout as he appeared at the Salvation Ministries Church for Sunday service in Port Harcourt.
As captured in a video shared on X, Fubara’s arrives at the church premises with his security details and escort.
He was received by the Pastors of the church.
NPO Reported that Fubara was, alongside his deputy, Ngozi Odu, and all members of the state House of Assembly, suspended for six months by President Bola Tinubu following the declaration of state of emergency.
Tinubu had, last week Tuesday, declared the emergency on account of the unresolved political unrest in the state.
The President would appoint Vice Admiral Ibok-Ette Ibas (Rtd) as the Rivers Sole Administrator for the six months.
