The All Progressives Congress (APC) had released the schedule of activities ahead of the 2026 Osun State Governorship election with aspirants billed to pay N50 million each.
As contained in the schedule released by the party’s National Organizing Secretary, Sulaiman Argungu, governorship aspirants are to pay N10 million for expression of interest and N40 million for the nomination form.
However, female aspirants and Persons with Disabilities (PWD) are only obliged to pay for the expression of interest form as the nomination form is free for them.
For youths between the age of 25 to 40, the expression of interest form will be made available to them with 50 percent discount.
Meanwhile, as highlighted in the schedule, the notice of election to the state chapter of the party is billed to be release on the 3rd of October.
This will be following by update of membership which will commence on the 20th of October and close on the 31st of October.
The sales of Expression of Interest and Nomination forms will be open from 12th to 26th of November.
Other activities billed to hold in December include screening of aspirants, delegate congress, and the party primaries which will be held on the 13th of December.
List of nominated candidate will be submitted to the APC National Working Committee (NWC) on the 22nd of January 2026 with the final list tendered before the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on the 11th of February 2026.
Campaign is billed to start 11th of March 2026 and end on the 6th of August 2026.
