It’s an emotional moment in Lagos as family and friends of a sound engineer David Imoh, have organized commenced a burial rite for him.
Imoh was the victim who was attacked by commercial motorcycles operators and later burnt at the Admiralty Way Lekki area of Lagos.
His killing has triggered the latest ban on Okada in five local government areas of the state which took effect on Wednesday June 1.
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu had placed the ban on Okada after outrage following the killing of the sound engineer.
He and his colleagues who were also attacked but escaped being lynched were to perform at a leisure point Beer Ban in Lekki.
The service holding at Church of God’s Mission, has his friends and family members wearing mournful looks.
The atmosphere is sober with many of those at the service wearing T-shirts bearing David Imoh’s photo.
Imoh was killed after an arguments ensued over N100 change . He was beaten to death on the spot and his remains set of fire.
