Soneye disclosed this in a statement issued on Wednesday and made available to NPO Reports.
The NNPCL spokesperson cited the tragic incident involving his colleagues as reason behind the decision.

“However, the “5 Hours of Praise” event led by Pastor Abbey Olusanya on Tuesday, October 29th, will still take place as planned.
“I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused, particularly to those who have traveled from abroad.
“My heartfelt thoughts and prayers go out to the families affected by this tragic incident. May God bring comfort to all those involved.” Soneye wrote.
The tragic incident, which occured last week Friday, saw a chartered helicopter, marked 5NBQG and operated by Eastwind Aviation Logistics Services Limited, conveying the NNPCL senior officials crashed into the Atlantic Ocean at Bonny area of Rivers state.
