A member of the House of Representatives Shina Peters has yanked off the flag of te All Progressive Congress earlier hoisted in his office.
The federal lawmaker’s action confirmed his final exit from the party on the platform of which he was elected into office.
Peller was elected in 2019 and represents lseyin/ltesiwaju/ Kajola/lwajowa federal constituency in the lower chamber of the National Assembly.

In his post, Peller had said that his action is according to the interest of the people he represents.
“There is time for everything. Big thank you to APC for the life experience. It’s time for a fresh beginning. We move. One Accord,”
Peller had contested for the senatorial ticket of the party for Oyo North Senatorial district of Oyo State.
There is a huge defection of APC members to the Accord Party in Oyo State after the primaries which were reported to be largely controversial.
