Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, was on Tuesday checkmated by President Bola Tinubu’s Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, who wooed him in supporting the All Progressives Congress (APC).
NPO Reported that the governor had hosted Gbajabiamila at his office ahead of the Houe of Representatives former Speaker’s lecture at the University of Osun State ( UNIOSUN).
Having earlier commended the governor for the development in the state, Gbajabiamila would test Adeleke in parables to get his support for the APC-led administration.
As captured in a video shared on X on Wednesday, the CoS had urged everyone present to say amen to his prayer request.
Gbajabiamila would then pray for APC to continue to get stronger.
Understanding the CoS’ gimmicks, Adeleke, a Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) held his peace as the sound of amen echoed in his office.
Gbajabiamila jokingly trolled him that he did not hear his voice, forcing the governor to say amen to the prayer.
“I want to say a prayer, and I want to hear a very loud Amen. By virtue of your work, APC will continue to get stronger. Say Amen. Your Excellency, I didn’t hear your Amen.” The CoS said.
Adeleke hid his blushes under the aegis of togetherness.
“Amen, we are all together.” the governor replied as laughter erupted in his office.
