Timileyin Ajayi, the Nigerian Gospel Singer caught with his girlfriend’s severed head in Abuja, has confessed to killing her because she was cheating.
Ajayi, in an exclusive interview with Channels TV on Tuesday, expressed that he felt no regret for killing the lady identified as Salome Adaidu.
He alleged to have caught her sex chatting with other guys which she hides from him most times.
“She was always cheating. She hides most of the things from me most times. I saw most of her chats with other guys on the phone.
“I don’t have any regret killing her because life is reciprocal, that is what I thought. If you must be with someone, you have to reciprocate with that person. You have to understand what that person is going through so that you can actually put yourself in the position that person is going through.
“That is why I didn’t have any regret because we are actually compatible.” He said.
On how he murdered Salome, the Kogi-born cryptocurrency trader recounted how he had invited her to his house where he challenged her of cheating.
“What happened on that day was very simple. I caught her cheating on me and I brought it to her awareness that she was cheating.
“She refused. She didn’t want to accept until I showed her the chat and what she did before she admitted and told me she was sorry, it won’t happen again.
“After that, I told her to go the bathroom. She went to the bathroom and started somethings. I couldn’t take it lightly. I had to go into the room and get some certain things. I took the knife from the rest room and went to her. I hold her neck and Didi what I had to do.
“When she died, nothing really happened. I only took some parts of the knife (gesticulating how he dismembered her) and that was it.” Timileyin said.
Meanwhile, as against reports of his arrest, the suspected murder claimed he surrendered himself.
“I was not caught. I surrendered myself. If I didn’t want anybody to catch me, I would have done that. It is very simple.” He added.
In her reaction, Esther Adaidu, the late Salome’s elder sister, demanded justice against Timileyin.
Esther, who admitted to seeing Timileyin for the first time, recounted how he confirmed to her that he killed Salome.
“The deceased is my younger sister and I feel very bad because I just lost a person. We did not just lost a person, we lost a sister. My Mum lost a daughter. I feel really bad about the whole situation and I demand justice to be served to this guy.
“He confirmed it to me when we picked him up from the police station before we brought him to this Command here.
“I’m just seeing him for the first time apart from the social media pictures flying around. I was like you are the one that killed my sister. He nodded and said yes.” She said.
