The former /Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC), Mr. Babatunde Iruker, has stated that Nigerians deserve a better deal.
He made the assertion while reacting to his dismissal by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Monday.
Recall that NPO Reports reported that the Presidential spokesman, Ajuri Ngelale announced the dismissal of Babatunde Irukera as the FCCPC EVC/CEO and Alexander Ayoola Okoh of BPE as part of a restructuring move.
Irukera in his post on X expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to serve and assured that he left a legacy in the FCCPC
“Grateful for the opportunity to have served the incredibly vibrant & loyal Nigerian citizens/consumers.
“They deserve a better deal. I leave behind a strong Institutional advocate in the FCCPC, & an outstanding team of soldiers who work there daily for the cause of fair markets.”
