Former Osun State Secretary to the State Government, Moshood Adeoti, has made known his position on the ongoing political drama in the state.
Adeoti, who served under the administration of the former governor of the state, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, disclosed that he is currently on “Siddon Look” mode.
The political slang which was promoted by late Nigerian former Minister of Justice, Bola Ige, simply means observing an event unfolds.
Adeoti stated this while addressing a group of supporters in Iwo town during the weekend.
Addressing the mammoth crowd in Yoruba, the former SSG who had refused to join his principal, Aregbesola, in defecting to the African Democratic Party (ADC), reserved his comment over the ongoing power tussle ahead of the 2026 Osun gubernatorial election.
While acknowledging the visit of current Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, to his residence last week, Adeoti however failed to disclose if he will be working with the governor who had recently defected to Accord Party where he now seeks re-election bid after dumping the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
“You know they say in the olden days is that a title given to an Iwo indigene would soon be given to someone from Ede.
“You all know who I am. We’ve been discussing on the progress this town and development of this town.
“Adeleke made me a visit on Friday, though I’m currently om Siddon Look.” Adeoti said.
The ex-SSG further hailed Adeleke for his humility by his visit to him while hinting his possible support of the governor’s re-election bid.
“Adeleke shows no pride in himself. He told me his plan for us which he might not be able to tell you directly because he is still in office.
“What he told me is very huge. All what you’ve been told since are not up to what he told me. He needs to continue Campaign is yet to start. When it does, we will support who supports us.” He added.
