Suspected members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and the Eastern Security Network (ESN) have allegedly killed the wife of an Anglican priest following an attack on the church in Anambra State.
This was disclosed in a post shared on Facebook on Monday.
According to the post the suspected members of the secessionist group had in the early hours of Sunday launched a brutal attack on the St Andrews Anglican church Isiokwe in Lilu community of ihiala Local Government Area of the state.
The armed group reportedly murdered the wife of the church priest, razed his house with the church vehicles and other properties burnt.
Video attached to the post showed the charred remains of the church vehicles as well as the priest’s private which was burnt alongside his house.
