Nigerian disc jockey and entertainer, Florence Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy, has hinted plan to quit social media and relocate to a village.
DJ Cuppy made this known in a post shared on her X handle on Tuesday.
In what had widely been considered a joke, the daughter of Nigerian billionaire businessman, Femi Otedola, shared a picture of herself with caption claiming she is thinking about deleting all her social media pages and settling in an undisclosed village alongside three goats she planned to buy.
‘Just still thinking about deleting social media, moving to the countryside and buying 3 goats. Nothing major.’ DJ Cuppy wrote.
This had since sparked mixed reactions from netizens with some playing along with the entertainer while others urged her not to delete her handles as they expressed concern over what they perceived as a plan to isolate herself.
However, some encouraged DJ Cuppy to go ahead with the plan.
‘Don’t do it cuppy , I know it might feel like what you need now but it’s not . The same reason you feel you have to isolate yourself is the same reason not to , one of the things keeping you sane if is the chaos, just find a way to enjoy it and not care to much.’ @kvnqchisom
