UK-based Nigerian activist, Kayode Ogundamisi, has warned against fielding President Bola Tinubu’s son, Seyi Tinubu, as Lagos governorship candidate.
Reacting, in a post on his X handle yesterday, to a viral video showing Seyi Tinubu addressing the public, Ogundamisi faulted the President’s son oratory skills.
The renowned political analyst stressed that he would be easily defeated if pitched against 2023 Labour Party’s Lagos governorship candidate, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, in the next election.
“First Son Seyi Tinubu is a typical example of “Silence is Golden.”
“Public speaking isn’t for him.
“If you guys pitch him against Gbarebo in Lagos in 2027 as it’s being rumoured, Gbarebo will defeat him before 12 pm.” He wrote.
NPO reported that Seyi Tinubu had yesterday sparked public reactions after a viral video of him addressing a gathering at a recent event surfaced online.
Tinubu had, in a fierce tone, claimed that his father is the greatest President in Nigeria’s history.
This had left netizens reeling as some faulted his oratory while others faulted his claim.
