A candidate of the Joint Admission Matriculation Board’s (JAMB) Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), Esther Oladele, has gone missing after alleged entering “wrong bus” along Ajah-Epe road in Lagos.
This was disclosed in a post shared on Friday by an X user with the username Mayorjohnson1.
The X user, who claimed to be brother of the missing girl, recounted how she had left home on Thursday for a family friend’s house in Epe ahead of her examination which was held yesterday.
According to him, Esther would raised alarm in text where she claimed to have entered a wrong bus.
“We’re looking for my kid sister since yesterday afternoon,she was to go frm Ajah to Epe to stay wit a family friend for her Jamb Exam this morning 9am.Her last statement was “I’m scared I Tink I enter rong car my eyes is itchy e be like I want to slip” We’re yet to hear frm her” Johnson wrote.
He further disclosed that a report have been filed at Ajiwe Police Station, Ajah, with the Police stating that they will commence investigation into the case.
“Hello Nigerians, At this time we have no positive information yet on Esther. Reports have been made at @PoliceNG Ajiwe Police station in Ajah, which they said they will start investigation which includes sharing the information with other stations and also airing it. @PolNG_CRU” Johnson added.
Also, a notice of missing person has been issued by the family, indicating that Esther was last seen on Thursday by 12 noon when she left home.
