The Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs has cleared former Presidential spokesperson, Reno Omokri, for ambassadorial appointment.
Omokri had on Thursday appeared before the Senate alongside other ambassador-designate nominated by President Bola Tinubu.
Like some other public figures whose name made the President’s list, Omokri’s nomination had sparked controversies, especially over his past criticism of the Tinubu-led administration.
