Members of the Labour Party on Wednesday booed a factional leader of the party Lamidi Apapa on Wednesday at the premises of the presidential election tribunal in Abuja.
Apapa had claimed he was the rightful leader of the party who was supposed to sit and represent the party at the election tribunal sitting.
It took the intervention of security men to prevent Apapa from being mobbed. He was however humiliated with his cap removed at some point. Shouts of “ole” “ole” (thief, thief) rent the air as the angry LP supporters rough-handled him along the way.
He was ferried out of the danger of being lynched by the policemen.
