Lagos businesswoman and socialite, Adebayo Happiness, popularly known as Mummy Glee, has called out the Oloworo of Oworonshoki, Oba Saliu Babatunde, over the demolition of her house with N50 million worth of valuables.
NPO earlier Reported the demolition exercise carried out over the weekend in Oworonshoki by the Lagos State Government.
The officials of the state government had, in collaboration with security agencies, alleged stormed the community on Saturday night without prior notice.
They reportedly gave the residents of the affected houses five minutes to evacuate before bringing down several building with excavator.
Also caught up in the demolition exercise which lasted till daybreak was Mummy Glee’s mansion.
Her mansion was among the first buildings to be demolished by the officials shortly after their arrival.
Reacting in a post on her Instagram handle, the businesswoman called out Oba Saliu over the demolition of her apartment without prior notice.
She accused the Oworonshoki monarch of targeting her house which she claimed was demolished alongside N50 million worth of stocks and other valuables.
“I need to understand why my house was demolished with no prior notice!! I had my valuables in that house , it wasn’t just the building!!
“In that house I had 50 million naira worth of stock for my clothing brand!!
“I have 3 TV , washing machine , all 5 bedrooms en-suite , , all carriers and toys of my kids , 2 electric sewing machine for my clothing brand two freezers, 1 tall door fridge, ac’s documents
“How would you crush my house without giving me the privilege of moving my items!! Why??
I was not around when the incident occurred, I had to rush down !!
“Why would you come and demolish my house in the middle of the night!!! Yes my house, the one beside the ferry jetty !! That grey storey building! Everyone knows it!!” the enraged businesswoman cried out.
She recalled how she had visited the monarch before purchasing the land where the house was situated.
Mummy Glee demanded for compensation as she further recounted her loss.
“Let me remind you that I bought this land from you people inside your palace!! I could remember sitting in the living room when receipt was written for myself and my husband!!!

“Give me answers!!! Give me my valuables!! I need answers!! Why did you crush my house @official_oloworo2 .. how can you not protect your community?? How can houses be crushed in your community with all valuables, no empathy at all!! No notice!!” She added.
