Lagos State Commissioner of Health, Prof. Akin Abayomi, has undergone a successful surgery.
Abayomi disclosed this in a post on his official X handle on Friday.
The surgery, according to the Commissioner, was performed by oculoplastic surgeons at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH).
Abayomi expressed his delight over the success of the surgery.
He commended the surgeons and nurses at the hospital’s eye department for their expertise as he described procedure as painless.
The Commissioner also expressed his gratitude to the Director of Clinical Services and Training at LASUTH, Prof. Adebowale O. Adekoya, as well as the the Chief Medical Director, Prof. Adetokunbo O. Fabanwo.
