Lagos State Government has launched the Pathway to Malaria Pre-Elimination and Digitization Programme.
The state government had, in partnership with the World Bank, World Health Organization (WHO), and Maisha Meds amongst others, unveiled the initiative.
This was disclosed in an X post shared on Tuesday by the Special Adviser to the State Governor on Media and Publicity, Gboyega Akosile.
According to the post, the initiative, which was launched by Sanwo-Olu, is aimed at reducing the malaria burden through digital innovation and public-private sector collaboration.
Akosile maintained that the project would move Lagos towards malaria pre-elimination by enhancing diagnostic accuracy, improving case management and linking patients to social health insurance schemes.
